Day 1: Arrival in Tehran, IKA airport transfer, overnight in Hotel
Day 2: Drive to Garmabdar and start the trekking to Khatun-Bargah Pass, descent on the eastern side to Lar-valley, overnight in camp/tent
Day 3: Following the Lar River to the camping spot close to the Kamardasht, overnight in a camp/tent
Day 4: Follow a side valley in the northern direction, overnight in a camp/tent
Day 5: Visit the springs of Divasiab – saddle (3,250m) Vararu-plateau and camping spot on the north-western side of Damavand
Day 6: Ascent to the Damavand base camp on the north-eastern side (Nandal plateau)
Day 7: Drive to the north-north-eastern part of the mountain and trek to the high camp on the eastern side (4,350m)
Day 8: Acclimatization day at high camp, with some small excursions
